Faucet repair—Cold Water Faucet maintenance
1. If the cold water faucet is controlled by a main water inlet valve, close the main valve. When the cold water inlet pipe is separated, close the two corresponding valves.
2. Use a flat screwdriver to open the accessory "01 cold water handle fixing screw hole plug"; insert a flat screwdriver into the handle fixing screw hole plug cold water hole, and turn the screwdriver counterclockwise for about 3 turns.
3. Grasp the faucet handle with your left hand, push it upward with force, and use the screwdriver. The rear handle must be made of non-metallic material, otherwise it will damage the outer surface of the faucet. Tap upward gently, so that the accessory "02 water outlet handle" is separated; turn the accessory "03 end cover" counterclockwise to the left, and the end cover is separated from the main body.
4. Put the head of the adjustable wrench on the hexagonal position of the accessory "04 core tightening hexagonal sleeve", adjust the size of the head of the adjustable wrench, rotate counterclockwise, remove the ceramic valve core for inspection, if it is intact, turn it clockwise to the right, tighten it; if it is damaged, replace it with a new valve core. Reinstall the accessories "03 end cover", "02 water outlet handle", "01 cold mark note that red represents the water side and blue represents the cold water side".
